It was 3 am, when I was woken up by Nisha. It was completely dark, in spite of the cold weather outside,
I could sense that she was sweating a lot and was gasping for air. I immediately took her by the window and opened the window. It was a cloudless night and the moonlight flooded the room. I could see how beautiful she looked at that dim light. My only way to reassure her was to hold her hand because I was speech less.
She looked incredibly sweet but I soon realised that the looks are deceiving.
Something wasn’t right at that moment and the pain medication had number my sensation.
She placed her hand near my chest and looked disturbed. She asked to me change the bandage and I soon realised that I was bleeding profusely but hadn’t felt anything.
Immediately after she changed my bandage dressing, she told me that she was ready and she trusted me enough to tell the truth about her past. Which were the reasons, for her nightmares every single day.
I was thirsty and could find no water in the room. I wanted to call the room service but she insisted not to do so.
She began sobbing and like always made me felt guilty as though it was my fault.
After a while she began telling her story.................
